An unlikely friendship has been captured on camera between a walker and a wild robin.

Peter Hildick from St Austell in Cornwall goes walking every morning and each day he is joined by the same robin.

He says the bird is normally waiting for him so he can tuck into his food - and has now sat on his hand for a record 9 minutes and 20 seconds.

But the robin isn't the only little bird making an impression on walkers in Cornwall. Esme Denslow also sent us this picture of a blue tit at Tehidy Country Park.
