Family and friends join search for missing teenager

There is an ongoing police search for a teenager who was last seen on a Dorset seafront four days ago. The disappearance of Louis Harris is out of character - according to family and friends - who've joined officers in searching for him.

There are now 'grave concerns' for the 18-year-old, who was last seen on Weymouth Beach in the early hours of Sunday after a night out with friends.

A specialist search unit including divers has been brought in from Devon & Cornwall Police, and coastguard officers are also involved as Acting Inspector Tony Burden from Dorset Police told us.

Louis, was last seen at 4.20am on Sunday at the beach steps near the Pavilion. But conditions in Weymouth today haven't made this search any easier. >The wind and rain put the police helicopter out of action but most of the searches were concentrated within the harbour itself.

The Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen Louis in the early hours of Sunday morning to get in touch.
