Devon and Cornwall Police have launched a new campaign around sexual consent, which aims to educate and inform young people about the issue.

The campaign targets 16 to 21 year olds, and promotes the message that there are #noblurredlines. The 'Guide' reiterates that sex without consent is rape.

WHAT IS CONSENT?

  • Sexual consent means 'willing agreement'.

  • Making sure you get and give consent matters.

  • Consent should always be clear, so you must ensure you have it or have given it.

Detective Inspector Andrea Kingdon, of Devon and Cornwall Police says it's important to address the issue of consent.

The force have launched a webpage with more information about the campaign.
