Baby otter rescued after her home is flooded
When 'Storm Imogen' hit last weekend, many people were on flood alert as heavy rain caused river levels to rise.
One young riverbank resident was flooded right out of her home and separated from her family. She's a baby otter, and she's now being cared for at a rescue centre.
Immy the otter is about 6 weeks old, orphaned and rescued in Gloucestershire, she's now being bottle fed and hand reared at the Secret World Animal rescue centre in Somerset.
The rescue centre says Storm Imogen flooded out the holt where she would be at this point in the season. But Immy is too young to cope and sadly lost her mum in the storm.
When found, she was covered in ticks and scared, but now she seems to be in a much better condition. Josie Nott, Immy's carer says she's now very lively.
