Strong winds batter the coast

Storm Imogen is causing havoc in the west this morning with gusts of winds of up to 80 miles per hour hit the west.

There are currently 28 flood warnings across the south west; for more information check the Environment Agency website.

The old Severn bridge is closed due to the high winds - the M4 bridge is still open. Flooding on the river Avon has blocked the main road into Evesham.If you're travelling by train this morning, please check before you travel - we're expecting lots of cancellations.

Emergency services are warning drivers to take extra care on the roads.
