Around five hundred people marched through the centre of Bristol today protesting against government plans to bring in new contracts for junior doctors. The march comes ahead of a strike planned for Wednesday

They sent out their message through song, through megaphones and with placards as they marched through the centre of Bristol. Junior doctors say they're fighting for what is safe and fair:

Many doctors here don't trust the government to look after the NHS as it looks after patients.

No more strikes are planned after Wednesday but the doctor's union isn't ruling it out.

Meanwhile the Health Secretary, Jeremy Hunt, today accused the doctor's union of spreading misinformation.
