Teenage tennis star Katie Swan selected in GB Fed Cup squad performs 'Fresh Prince' style rap as an initiation

Teenage tennis star Katie Swan from Bristol has been selected in the Great Britain squad for two Fed Cup ties in Israel this week.

The 16-year-old was among the picks of coach Judy Murray - Andy Murray's mum - after Australian Open semi-finalist Johanna Konta pulled out of the squad through illness.

The team face Georgia and South Africa from Thursday in their bid to win promotion from the Europe/Africa Zone Group 1.

Swan has been up-and-coming in Junior tennis since 2014, reaching the final of the Australian Open junior tournament just over a year ago.

She will play in the singles for team GB alongside Heather Watson, while Jocelyn Rae and Anna Smith will compete in the doubles.

The team seem to have been in good spirits ahead of the week's matches, taking selfies together and offering plenty of smiles during training.

The new players, including Swan, were even involved in an initiation ceremony, introduced by Judy Murray, where they performed their own take on the opening rap from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
