Welsh icon Sir Tom Jones to play Eden Sessions in first Cornwall trip since 1983

The legendary Welsh singer Tom Jones has been lined up for the Eden Sessions this summer.

The Eden Project announced today that it would welcome the star to the venue on Sunday June 26.

Sir Tom last played in Cornwall in September 1983 at the now-closed Cornwall Coliseum in Carlyon Bay near St. Austell.

Lionel Richie is already confirmed to play two nights at the Eden Sessions on June 14 and 15 (both sold out).

Last year Elton John play two consecutive headline shows with Paolo Nutini, Paloma Faith, Motorhead and Ben Howard also headlining.

Tickets for the Tom Jones show go on general sale on Tuesday February 2 at the cost of £45.
