Tributes have been paid to a 30 year old man from Devon who was stabbed to death in London.

Police were called on Tuesday (Jan 19) to Kendor Gardens in south London following what officers describe as "an unprovoked" attack on Daniel Young from Paignton.

Daniel Young was on his way to the second day of his new job as a lecturer at Coventry University's London Campus International.

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of wasting police time and subsequently arrested on suspicion of murder. He has since been bailed.

Scotland Yard says detectives are considering whether Mr Young's death is linked to another stabbing that morning when a 23 year old man was injured.

His friend Scarlett Grant-Jones has set up a donation page to help pay for Daniel's funeral.

On the page she paid a touching tribute to him.
