The RNLI is searching for new lifeguards to patrol the West Country's beaches this summer selling it as the 'Best Summer Job'.

New recruits - who should be strong swimmers - will be kitted out, trained and paid to cover more than 70 beaches across the region.

WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Strong swimmers who can swim 400m in under 7 minutes and 30 seconds

  • Good level of fitness

  • Over 16 years old
