'I couldn't hold him one last time': family of murdered teenager Zac Evans speak of their grief
The family of murdered Gloucester teenager Zac Evans have told ITV News his killer has destroyed their lives.
The 19-year-old died after being attacked with a machete by Ewen Reynolds, following an argument outside a pub. The 44-year-old is due to be sentenced tomorrow (Tuesday 12 January).
Speaking to our reporter Ken Goodwin, Zac's mother Sylvia and sister Annia described him as a caring, happy young man, with a fabulous smile and a bright future ahead of him.
Remembered by his sister as "the best little brother you could wish for", Zac's mother told us his twin brother had been left "broken" by what had happened.
Both spoke of the depth of the family's grief, and said that no sentence could change that. See the full interview below.
