Police hunt for suspected illegal immigrants in Gloucestershire village

Police are searching for suspected illegal immigrants in and around a Gloucestershire village, after reports of 19 people running away from a lorry.

Several people were arrested on suspicion of immigration offences after a search of the village of Arlingham yesterday.

A local said they saw "hundreds" of police there, as well as several police vans, cars and dog cars.

Police say the search for the rest of the suspects is ongoing, and involves local police officers and a helicopter.
