Somerset lottery winners volunteer at stables for disabled charity
They have a combined fortune of more than £10 million but it doesn't mean these lottery winners from our region are above a bit of hard work!
The five winners from across the South West joined together to spread a bit of Christmas cheer this morning by helping out at a Riding for Disabled charity in Taunton.
Dione and Richard Buss from Bridgwater, Jenn Burston from Taunton and Paul and Denise Hardware from Street got stuck in to help with yard duties, painting and supporting riding lessons.
After responding to an appeal to muck out horses on a dreary Wednesday in December, they pulled on their wellies and gloves during the visit to the Conquest Equestrian Centre in Taunton to help other volunteers with their daily tasks and deliver gifts and treats.
The Centre's manager Jess Dixon said:
Conquest Equestrian Centre is a Somerset charity which offers equine activities for adults and children with a wide range of disabilities.
