Hollie Gazzard's murder 'not preventable or predictable'
The murder of a Gloucestershire hairdresser by her violent ex boyfriend was neither predictable nor preventable, an inquiry has found.
Hollie Gazzard, 20, was stabbed 14 times outside the salon where she worked in February last year.
Asher Maslin, 24, admitted her murder and is serving a life sentence with a minimum tariff of 24 years.
The Homicide review, published today, found he had attacked Hollie as well as two other ex-girlfriends and his mother. But despite being arrested a total of 23 times in six years, the review said Miss Gazzard's death was not predictable.
Her father disagreed, speaking to ITV News:
The review makes more than 30 recommendations.
