Bath players feel 'let down' by Burgess

Bath's head coach and star player have spoken out strongly against Sam Burgess after he left the club to return to Rugby League in Australia.

It's the first time they've spoken candidly to the media since Burgess' exit was confirmed at the end of last week.

The comments come on a day when there was some good news for Bath as they announced the signing of David Denton from Edinburgh.

The 25 year old has been capped 32 times by his country and as an out and out back rower is arguably an improvement on Sam Burgess. Bath's Head Coach Mike Ford was pleased to secure his services:
