Hundreds from West Country stranded in Egypt
Hundreds of people from the South West are among more than 20,000 Britons stranded in the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, after all flights to and from the UK were suspended.
A popular destination for West Country travellers, three flights a week leave Bristol Airport for Sharm. Today's flight was cancelled - and it's looking like they won't resume before Christmas, after the Prime Minister confirmed the recent plane crash was believed to be an act of terrorism.
He has held an emergency meeting today with the Egyptian Government.
Thousands of people with holidays booked there have spent the day making alternative plans, or asking for refunds.
Thomas Cook are offering those who are due to leave before November 12th an alternative holiday - but it's still very unclear how long this will go on.
We've heard from West Country holidaymakers who were due to fly to Sharm on honeymoon and are now having to make last minute plans.
But what about those already there? The work is now underway to get British travellers back from Egypt. The government has said it's important they are evacuated as soon as possible - but how long this will take is unclear.
