The world's 'most expensive' biscuit up for auction
The World's "most expensive" biscuit goes on sale at a Wiltshire auctioneers this weekend.
The biscuit which is 103 years old, was from the Titanic - and has an estimated value of £10,000.
The biscuit was preserved by survivors of the sinking in 1912. It was part of a survival kit in one of the Titanic's lifeboats.
It is a Spillers and Bakers 'Pilot' biscuit and was wrapped by the survivor in an envelope, which it has remained in ever since.
The biscuit will be sold at Henry Aldridge & Son auctioneers in Devizes on Saturday.
