Aid charity prepares for category 5 hurricane in Mexico
Cornish aid charity Shelterbox is on standby as Mexico braces itself for Hurricane Patricia.
The relief agency is monitoring the course of the hurricane, as it's expected to make landfall later today. The US National Hurricane Centre has described the category five storm as "potentially catastrophic".
In Mexico, a state of emergency has been declared across three states, and wind speeds have been reported of up to 185 mph.
Shelterbox has just returned from Greece where it's been working with Syrian refugees. Staff at the charity say they're in contact with people in Mexico - and are preparing a response team if required.
