The unwanted Staffie turned crime fighting hero
A stray Staffordshire Bull Terrier, who was left unwanted, has now been recognised for her work catching criminals.
Stella, was recruited by Gloucestershire Police to help fight crime, and last night she was honoured with a Public Service Animal of the Year award at the Daily Mirror's Animal Hero Awards.
Her biggest find to date has been £25,000 worth of drugs money hidden under a mattress, which officers wouldn't have discovered without her.
