Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital fined for failed cancer targets
Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital is being fined after failing to meet cancer treatment targets.
The Trust was branded "one of the worst performers" and the Clinical Commissioning Group is withholding hundreds of thousands of pounds every month until an action plan is agreed.
Target:
The hospital has failed to meet this target for 18 months.
Measures:
The NEW Devon CCG said the money would be withheld until "a remedial action plan" is agreed, then the money will be repaid.
