Becky Watts Trial: Murder accused - 'I didn't particularly like Becky'

Becky Watts

The step-brother of Becky Watts told police he "didn't particularly like" the teen because of how she spoke to his mother.

In a second police interview Nathan Matthews bluntly tells officers the pair had a "civil" relationship but were never close.

Matthews recalled a time when Becky had taken her step-mum Anjie's Ebay password and begun to buy things with it, without asking.

Matthews said he believed Becky's anorexia was "attention seeking" and he didn't believe it was "a condition". He said when the Bristol teen was told she would have to spend a long period of time in hospital she "immediately went home and began stuffing her face".

He told police he wasn't working - but around the time Becky was last seen had just quit a job as a cash-in-hand Chinese food deliverer.

He said around the time Becky disappeared, he and Hoare spent a number of days with Hoare's mum in Southmead.

He added he had not been on any searches for Becky.

Nathan Matthews denies murdering Becky but has admitted killing the teen.

Shauna Hoare denies all the charges.
