Three men arrested in Gloucester murder investigation
Police have arrested three men after a 22-year-old man, named locally as Dolton Powell, was stabbed to death outside a birthday party in Gloucester on Sunday 23 August.
The men, aged 22, 21 and 19, were arrested earlier today on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody.
Police were called to the All Nations Community Centre, Chase Road, Gloucester at 3.23am on 23 August where a seriously injured man was found in the car park. He died later in Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
A second man, also seriously injured, was taken to the Gloucestershire Royal by ambulance and he underwent surgery. His condition is now stable.
A third man received treatment for more minor injuries.
Police have thanked the public and local businesses for their understanding. Extra patrols have been brought in to the Barton Street, Tredworth and Chequers areas of the city and officers are asking anyone with concerns should approach them.
