As the new season looms every fan will have high hopes for their side, but one of our teams will be hoping this season goes better than the last two. Yeovil have suffered back to back relegations and find themselves in League Two. And in an effort to halt the decline the squad has undergone a serious rebuild to ensure they move up the table rather than down.

A new season always starts with a new team photo and in the case of Yeovil it is literally a new team. After last seasons relegation manager Paul Sturrock has bought in 15 players to get this Somerset outfit back to winning ways.

It has been a sharp decline for Yeovil who were running out against sides like Bournemouth 2 seasons ago but while the South Coast side will now travel to Manchester United and Liverpool this season Yeovil face trips to Carlisle and Newport. After two relegations fans are realistic about their teams goals.

Among the new faces is Ryan Dickson who has been brought in to captain this side.

If the manager has been busy on the pitch he's also been busy off it. Redecorating his office in the colours of his beloved Dundee United and converting the away dressing room into a games room during the week to help players bond.

It seems to have done the trick as well. Yeovil winning 5 of their 6 pre season friendlies. Including a 1-0 victory over Bristol City.

Yeovil face a daunting start to the season. Exeter away on Saturday before QPR in the cup and Bristol Rovers. After just a week fans could have a good idea of what to expect this season.
