Members of the ITV West Television Workshop, based at our studios in Bristol have appeared on Canadian TV News after taking their latest play on tour.

The group, whose patron is the actor, Emma Thompson, offers training in acting on stage and on screen - with a particular emphasis on working in front of camera.

It has a long history of putting on Shakespeare plays but always with a very modern flavour. Its latest production, which proved a hit at the Bristol Shakespeare Festival is Much Ado About Nothing, set in a school.
