Woman left bleeding after seagull attack
A pensioner has been attacked by a seagull as she walked her dog near a primary school. Sue Atkinson had to have her head wound glued and a tetanus injection.
Mrs Atkinson was walking her dog near St Michael's primary school in Helston at the time.
Mrs Atkinson said she thought there was a baby seagull on the other side of the road, which the larger bird may have been trying to protect.
She said she felt she had to warn other people about the danger.
"I thought I had to say something because it happened so close to the school, it could have been a little child. Something has to be done about it. How would the Prime Minister feel if this happened to him, or one of his children?"
