Do you know Glastonbury? The people you're sure to encounter

More than 175,000 festival goers will be at Glastonbury Festival this weekend.

We've made a list of people you're sure to encounter as you wander around the 1,200 acre site.

Olivia, 19, has always wanted to go to Glastonbury and this year four of her BFFs have saved enough cash for the festival. (Whoop!). Mummy (who has been to numerous 'fests') says don't drink before 2pm.

Day one, she has had two too many by midday, instagramming selfies at each of the dozen acts she's seen so far (big lolz).

By Sunday her phone is out of power, a drink is the last thing on her mind, and all she wants is mummy to run her a nice hot bubbly bath.

Jamie, 30, can't remember how many festivals he has been to. On Wednesday morning he walks past people pulling trolleys loaded with sleeping bags, tents, wellies and is one of the first to arrive at the Wicket gate.

He is wearing white flip-flops. He carries just a small backpack containing all he needs for the next five days: tobacco, one spare pair of boxers, dry socks (the ones he is wearing are already a little 'off') and one of those tin foil blankets.

By Monday, it's all over. the trolleys pass Jamie as they leave. His flip flops are brown. He's covered in mud. Jamie only opens his eyes when a fluorescent tabard-clad security guard wakes him.

He can't remember the festival - but he's counting down the days until the next one.

Pops, 26, has been thinking about what to pack for Glaso for the past 3 months. She's been checking out Alexa Chung on Vogue's 'Who's your festival muse?' guide.

She decides that the hippy look is not for her. She is definitely more rock chick.

Day One is skinny jeans, white ruffly shirt, black velvet jacket and black hunters. Pops has been wearing them around daddy's estate to try to take the shine off.

Pops, Lotts, Vix and Hetts all arrive on Friday morning. They're staying just 'off site' in a VIP Emperor tent. It has a wardrobe. When the girlies have hung up their clothes they head to the bar tent (also VIP) and grab a Pimms.

Pops catches a glimpse of wavy hair, tie-dye, fringe, flowers, gladiator sandals. It looks like. It is. Alexa Chung in full hippy garb.

Matty, 23, has never been to the pyramid stage. He walks past it on the way from the tent he shares with Mikey, to Arcadia - tonight it's banging. Big time.

Day two and Matty and Mikey are yet to see daylight. If they do venture out, they have the ability to part crowds: festival goers steer clear, never sure if these ravers will hug you or vomit on you.

On Saturday, they emerge from their slumber at 7pm. Down some cola. Mikey says he might go to the Pyramid stage. It's Kanye West, he says. Matty looks at him and raises an eyebrow.

For a second he thinks he's serious. Then they they both crack up. Turn over. And go back to sleep.

Lara, 35, wants Felix, 2, to have a rich cultural childhood. And anyway, why should having a baby stop Lara from going to her favourite festival? They're staying with other mummy friends in a tipi.

They have falafels for supper. When Lara wants to see an act, she puts bright noise-cancelling headphones on Felix and pulls him around the huge site in a wooden wheelbarrow.

By midnight he's asleep, and she pulls him all the way back up the hill. Lara is exhausted. Maybe next year she'll take him to Butlins instead.
