Kylie's Blog: Top tips for a smooth Glastonbury

Kylie shares her top five items she can't be without!

This will be my fourth Glastonbury Festival. Below are the five essential items that are always at the top of every packing list:

When nature calls you will have no choice but to pay a visit to one of the many portable toilets or long drops dotted around the festival site. On day one, they're tolerable. By Sunday they are, shall we say, pungent!

I carry a small lightweight scarf sprayed with my favourite perfume. So, when you need to go, you can hold it up to your nose, especially when you're in the queue.

You might look a little silly, but trust me, it's worth it!

The festival is fun and amazing but you need to be clean! Antiseptic spray for after a visit to those portaloos as described above.

Hand cream because the antiseptic spray dries out your skin.

And - You will be outside a lot. The sun will shine. Pile on the SPF. You will thank me for this when you are old.

Obviously you will take wellies. You don't need me to remind you of that. BUT - whatever the weather forecast, do not be temped to take any kind of flip flops or open toed shoes. You will regret it.

Even if it's dry, the ground is uneven under foot. Don't forget it's a farm after all!

You'll need your wellies!

Don't worry about an expensive waterproof. They are big and too warm. Buy a few cheap see-through ponchos (you can get them online, or even on the high street, for a couple of pounds). Keep them in your little bag and pull out when it rains - it will rain.

Why see-through? Because other festival goers will be able to see your carefully styled outfit underneath!

Don't forget your poncho!

Day one will be filled with taking selfies and posting them on Facebook, snapchat, Instagram, Twitter.

Day two and you will be one of the thousands of people looking for somewhere to charge your phone. This will take HOURS of queuing.

Don't make that mistake. Take one of those little spare batteries with you. Be the smug one still posting pics on Sunday.
