Battleground West: South Swindon

General Election Results 2010

South Swindon is a Labour target for this year’s election. The Conservatives won it in 2010 with a majority of 3,544 votes (a 7.52% share), but before then it had been held by Labour since the constituency was created in 1997.

Outgoing MP: Robert Buckland, Solicitor General for England and Wales. He will stand again in the 2015 election.
