Battleground West: Somerton and Frome

General Election Results 2010

The Liberal Democrats won the Somerton and Frome constituency in 2010 with a majority of 1,817 votes (a 3% share). They've held the seat since 1997 but before that the constituency had been Conservative since it was created in 1983. With the current MP standing down, the Conservatives are targeting this seat.

Outgoing MP: David Heath. He will not stand for re-election in 2015.
