A bridge in Bristol has been deliberately engulfed in a thick fog this week as part of an art installation to celebrate the city's year as European Green Capital

The production company 'In Between Time' invited a Japanese artist who specialises in conjuring unusual weather to create the display at Pero's Bridge.

The effect is made by dozens of high-pressure water pumps. Over the next ten days it will disappear behind a changing veil of fog.

The piece is meant to make people think about climate change and how it could disrupt everyday life. But, as the Executive Director told ITV News, it's also supposed to be a bit of fun.
