Yeovil's Acting Manager Terry Skiverton has spoken of his shock and disappointment at Gary Johnson's sacking.
But Skiverton knows that he and everyone at the club must put Johnson's dismissal behind them and quickly.
Skiverton, who served as Johnson's captain of Yeovil as a player and as his assistant, has been given no long term assurances about his position. The club's chairman of 23 years, John Fry, has put Skiverton in charge "until further notice".
Skiverton has previously had the managerial hot-seat at Huish Park to himself, between early 2009 and 2012, when he keep the Somerset club in League One and steered them clear of relegation. He is now ready to do it again.
And the 39 year-old former defender says he wouldn't have this opportunity, nor be where is without Gary Johnson.
