As a man appears in court charged with his murder, Zac Evans' mother has told us that she is trying to stay strong for the sake of her family.

19 year-old Zac died in a machete attack outside the Pike and Musket pub in Tuffley in Gloucester in the early hours of Saturday 24 January.

44 year old Ewen Reynolds appeared in court today, accused of murdering the Gloucester teenager with a machete. He has been remanded in custody to appear before Bristol Crown Court on Thursday 29 January.

Tonight Zac's mother described him as full of life, full of fun and with a wonderful sense of humour.
