Crowds flock to see Longleat lanterns

A record number of people visited Longleat over the festive period.

The safari park reported that figures were up more than 70% from the previous year, with nearly 150,000 visitors over Christmas.

Much of the success is being attributed to the Festival of Light display which featured around 7000 lanterns created by a team of Chinese artists.

The display will remain until Saturday 17th January.
