Banksy mural continues to cause controversy

Sightseers have been arriving at the scene of the latest Banksy to appear in Bristol. Overnight the mural depicting Vermeer's girl with a pearl earring, was splashed with paint. The building, which houses a design print company, is owned by Bristol City Council.

Marcus Lanyon, who runs the artistic charity 'Studio Upstairs', is unimpressed with the unofficial addition:
