A charity has been launched in memory of Andy Gunn, one of three young people killed in a house fire in Honiton last year . The 18 year old loved his job at a local hotel and wanted to make a career in the hospitality industry. His family and friends have now set up a foundation to help people who want to work in the trade. The launch was held at the hotel where he worked at Bishopsteignton in South Devon.

A night to be proud after a year pain with grief for a son whose name will now live on to help others fulfil their dreams in what is arguably one of the west country's most important industries.

Andrew Gunn died in a house fire Hontion along with with his girlfriend Rosie Benillick and her younger brother Harvey a year ago last April . When Andrew's family thought of the idea of a charity to offer a support fund for workers or students they were surprised to discover there were virtually no other similar organisations in England in the hospitality trade.
