Plans to transform Park St into waterslide
Bristol based artist Luke Jerram has unveiled his vision for a giant water slide down Park Street in the centre of the city.
The street would be closed to traffic allowing for a 90m long slide to run the length of Park Street. It would be free for the public to use.
The event called 'PArk and Slide' is planned for May 4th and will be presented as part of Bristol City Council’s ‘Make Sundays Special’ programme, enabling people to see their city in a new light.
The plans appear to be fairly advanced with a breakdown of costs available on the website. It's estimated the event would cost a little over £5500.
