Charity runner robbed in Canada but carries on
A man from Gloucester who's running unaided across Canada says he's on his feet again after being beaten up on New Year's Eve.
27 year old Jamie McDonald who's raising money for charity also lost his bag containing video footage of his journey as well as money but says that has now been recovered.
It's been another set back for the 27 year old who's been hampered by injury and bad weather during the five thousand mile run.
It's not the first time Jamie's faced challenges having been shot at on the Afghan border during a fourteen thousand mile cycling fundraiser in 2012.
This run is aimed at raising money for Gloucestershire Royal Hospital who helped him overcome a life threatening childhood illness.
