The People's Millions: how to apply
Over the past eight years The People's Millions have awarded more than £27.8m to 523 community projects across the UK. This year we will break the 30 million pound mark as we have 76 awards to give away totalling up to £3.8m. Each grant is for up to £50,000. Could the next winning project be yours?
The People's Millions is a grants programme run by the Big Lottery Fund in partnership with ITV. The aim of The People’s Millions programme is to fund projects that improve the lives of people in their community.
You can apply if you are:
a voluntary or community organisation
a school
a local authority
a health body
or a branch of organisation or partnership
Previous winners include:
Wanstrow near Shepton Mallet in Somerset where a Play Park was built thanks to People’s Millions.
You have from now until noon on Monday 13th May to apply. Shortlisted projects will go head-to-head for voting on ITV Regional News at 6pm during the last week of November. Media training will be offered. Terms and conditions apply.
