Yeovil Town v Portsmouth

Thirteenth place Yeovil Town need to arrest their sudden and alarming slide. Victory against Portsmouth at Huish Park would help to get them back on track.

Since going unbeaten in their opening four games of the season, Gary Johnson’s side have lost five in a row, and will be unable to call upon influential midfielder, Ed Upson, who received a one-match ban following his red card at Preston on Saturday.

Striker James Hayter, was an unused substitute at Deepdale, and could be in the running for a starting place.

Portsmouth are without injured trio Luke Rodgers, Darel Russel and Josh Thompson butdefender, Gabor Gyepes, and new signing Akos Buzsaky, are both likely to feature.

League Two

Torquay United v Aldershot Town

Torquay United haven't set the world alight yet after a string of draws but they've got the chance to change that when they take on Aldershot Town at Plainmoor this evening.

Martin Ling’s team have drawn six out of their nine league games so far this season, leaving them in fifteenth place, but just a win away from the play-off places.

Nathan Craig could return in midfield but Torquay may be forced to play defender, Tom Cruise, in a holding midfield role as their injury list mounts. Ian Morris is out with a ruptured Achilles and Craig Easton has a hamstring problem.

Aldershot will be without Peter Vincenti who is serving a three-game ban, Ross Worner, and Craig Stanley, who has a broken leg.

Wycombe Wanderers v Plymouth Argyle

Plymouth Argyle will be looking to take advantage of a struggling Wycombe when they travel to Buckinghamshire tonight.

Manager, Carl Fletcher, was without on-loan star, Ross Jenkins, for Saturday’s draw against Southend, but the 21-year-old may return to the squad following a groin injury.

Rhys Griffiths and Nick Chadwick will be push for starting berths having both made their injury come backs from the bench at the weekend.

The match against Wycombe starts a run of three consecutive games where Plymouth will face opposition that currently occupy the bottom three places in LeagueTwo.

Barnet v Exeter City

Exeter City made a rip-roaring start to life back in league Two but will want to bounce back from two straight defeats. A visit to face bottom of the league, Barnet, at Underhill should provide the perfect opportunity.

PaulTisdale’s side went down 2-1 to Bristol Rovers on Saturday, when a JamieCureton goal was not enough to share the spoils.

Midfielder Scot Bennett, was stretchered off with a suspected broken leg at the weekend but x-rays have since revealed that there was no fracture.

A win could see Exeter climb into the automatic-promotion places, while Barnet are yet to register three points this season.
