Mystery of body in a bin

The body of a man discovered at a rubbish recycling centre in Avonmouth has been formally identified as 22 year old Garrett Elsey.

The student from Canada had only been in Bristol for a day when he was found dead. He was about to begin a masters degree in international security at Bristol University.

His family are now coming to terms with the shocking idea he was crushed to death in a bin lorry.

Police say his death is not being treated as suspicious.
