Many of us have fond memories of coaches from our childhood taking us to the seaside or on our holidays. But with the advent of cheap package foreign holidays their role in our lives has changed.

You're now more likely to catch a bus to get to work than to go on holiday.

A recent report found that every day up to 2.5 million take the bus to commute to work - that's 12% of the working population.

The report was commissioned by the campaign Group Greener journeys which is now demanding more Government support.
