Olympics Day 6: One to watch - Peter Wilson

Day six of London 2012 sees the Westcountry focus fall on the shooting in Woolwich.

Dorset's Peter Wilson is the favourite to win gold in the men's double trap having set a world record earlier this year.

Peter who's from Dorchester was ranked number one in the world in 2011 after winning silver and gold on on the World Cup circuit. He is currently world number two behind American Joshua Richmond.

In America this year the 25 year old set a new world record with 180 successful hits out of a possible 200.

Today's competition will take place at Royal Artillery Barracks. Qualification begins at 9am this morning before the finals at 1500 this afternoon.
