Day six of London 2012 and with Team GB securing their first medals of the games there are further hops of success today.

Devon sculler Bill Lucas is the big hope on the Eton Dorney rowing lake. He's expected to be in with a chance of a medal when he takes part in the men's double scull with teammate Sam Townsend.

The pair are a newly formed team in the men's double scull this season but have already experienced success with a silver medal in Belgrade.

Born in Exeter, 24 year old Bill and teammate Sam qualified for the final on Tuesday. Today's event gets underway at 11.50am.

Great Britain will battle it out with Lithuania, New Zealand, Italy, Argentina and Slovenia.
