Cheltenham one of few places nationally where Lib Dems hold firm
In Cheltenham the Liberal Democrats have held on to control of the council. There was no change in the number of seats held by the Lib Dems, the Conservatives lost one seat and Independents gained one.
The make-up of the council is now: Lib Dems 25, Conservatives: 11, Independents: 4.
