Synchronised returns to yard after Gold Cup win
Dozens of locals were on hand to view winning horse Synchronised as he paraded around the yard at trainer Jonjo O'Neill's Temple Guiting base today. It was a hero's return for the horse and his star jockey who managed to secure the jewel in jump racing's crown at Cheltenham yesterday. Rider Tony McCoy said:
"The Gold Cup is the pinnacle of your sport and what everyone wants to try and win. It's been a loing time since the last time I won so it's really special."
For Jonjo O'Neil it was his first victory as a trainer, although he won the Gold Cup twice as a jockey. He's now considering whether to race Synchronised at next month's Grand National.
