Avon & Somerset's Chief Constable Nick Gargan has been asked to resign over misconduct charges. A disciplinary report is also to be published.
Date announced for Nick Gargan's sanction hearing
Avon and Somerset Chief Constable Nick Gargan's sanction hearing has been announced to take place on Wednesday August 19th.
The sanction hearing follows an independent misconduct panel finding the Chief Constable was guilty of eight counts of misconduct.
It's been recommended that he gets a eight final written warnings as a sanction.
