Boxer Blackwell slams Eubank family for conduct while he was in a coma
Trowbridge boxer Nick Blackwell has slammed the Eubank family for giving a press conference as he was in a coma after the fight.
The 25-year-old boxer also blasted Eubank Jnr for going out partying rather than checking to see if he was recovering.
Talking to Good Morning Britain he said he was "just a little disappointed" with their actions.
Blackwell woke from a week-long induced coma in April after suffering a bleed on the skull following a punishing loss to Eubank Jr at Wembley Arena.
The fight was stopped in the 10th round, and the boxer taken to an ambulance where he collapsed and "died".
He was saved when a doctor injected adrenaline into his heart, and placed him into a coma.
Just three days later the Eubanks held their press conference.

Blackwell, said he couldn't remember anything about the fight and it was "all a complete blur".
He added:
Chris Eubank Snr, 49, was overheard during the match telling his son to focus his punches on the body rather than the head.
Blackwell said: "Anyone in boxing knows it was more of a tactical thing. He couldn't stop me to the head, so he wanted to hit me to the body to try and get rid of me."
He added that he didn't think it was done for any sense of wellbeing.
Blackwell has made a near-full recovery after the fight but has now retired from the sport.
The Eubanks have responded to the criticisms.
