Bank Holiday weather chaos as Storm Katie hits
Winds of more than 70mph battered parts of the country overnight causing widespread travel disruption.>Storm Katie has passed through the region causing flooding and bringing down trees. The extreme weather has blown away this music marquee and ripped to shreds a tent at the Mells Daffodil Festival.
Terry Rogers' mum and dad took this photo in Sand Bay, Weston. They had a 'very scary night' in a caravan with Storm Katie battering the park.
There was also a lot of damage done to Dick Priddle's garden in Ilminster, Somerset.
Beth O'Donoghue took this stunning panoramic shot of a double rainbow in Coalpit Heath, Bristol - very much the calm before the storm.
A Somerset animal rescue centre was also hit by Storm Katie. The flooding and heavy winds forced them to cancel their Bank Holiday event.

These daffodils have survived the blustery showers, and were spotted bowing in the wind in Odd Down, Bath.
