Hero to zero - Bristol City sack manager Steve Cotterill
Bristol City have begun the search for a new manager after sacking Steve Cotterill.
Cotterill had been at the club for just over two years and last season won both the Johnstone's Paint Trophy and promotion to the Championship. But results and a lack of recruitment have left City languishing in the relegation zone.
The man who engineered those victories has been sacked after winning just four league games all season. City are currently in a relegation battle and fans recognise the need for change:
It's likely Cotterill's departure isn't purely down to results. The club has also failed to attract new players to improve both the quality and the depth of the squad. But if a manager is appointed quickly, many say there may still be time to make the necessary signings.
