Mum rescues baby from car moments before it bursts into flames
A mother pulled her baby son from the back seat of her car moments before it burst into flames.
Lisa Taperek, from Royal Wootton Bassett in Wiltshire, was on her way to collect her mother before picking up her six-year-old daughter from school in a second-hand Vauxhall Zafira B.
As she pulled into her mother's driveway the car began to belch smoke from the engine bay, prompting her frantic rescue of her son from his car seat.
These dramatic pictures show the blazing car moments after Lisa pulled her infant son out of the vehicle.
Lisa's ordeal comes after two women from Devon prompted an investigation from Vauxhall after their own cars caught fire last month.
The pair started a Facebook page and say already hundreds of people have been touch with similar experiences.
Car giant Vauxhall has now said it is recalling models of its Zafira B range, produced between 2005 and 2014.
